  • At each retreat, walk in the woods as a method to re-connect to others, nature, your deepest well-being, your spirit, your purpose and your deepest passions and dreams.

  • During your walk in the woods experience, enjoy being guided by an energizing and easy, breath-inspired outdoor stretching/yoga experience among new friends, the sun, the sky, and the trees. Retreat Location, What to Bring on Retreat and Weather

  • The retreat location is near Fox Run Regional Park in the Black Forest area in Monument near Baptiste and Roller Coaster Road. Directions and address will be shared at time of registration.
  • Dress appropriately weather-wise. Bring sunscreen and a hat, an umbrella if the forecast presents rain. Bring a water bottle at all times. Bring a favorite journal to take notes and reflections in.
  • As a retreat leader, and during this unique time with Covid, it is essential that I keep everyone safe as during the retreat. If you have been vaccinated, you are welcome to register for the retreat. Masks are not required but feel free to bring one if you feel more comfortable. If you have been exposed to Covid, or have symptoms, please refrain from participating. A credit will be issued to join the retreat at a future date. Thank you for helping to keep everyone safe!
  • If weather is terribly bad, I will plan on the retreat being primarily indoors with an expanded self-care, intention-setting and Wellness Kitchen session. Even in poor weather, we will do our best to take to the woods for a brief, exhilarating experience, making our cozy indoor time all the more cozy!

When I am Among the Trees

When I am among the trees,
especially the willows and the honey locust,
equally the beech, the oaks and the pines,
they give off such hints of gladness.
I would almost say that they save me, and daily.

I am so distant from the hope of myself,
in which I have goodness, and discernment,
and never hurry through the world
but walk slowly, and bow often.

Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, “Stay awhile.”
The light flows from their branches.

And they call again, “It’s simple,” they say,
“and you too have come
into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled
with light, and to shine.”
